Schönbrunn Palace (Vienna) – this visit was part of a 2-week trip in Europe (July 2015).
Schönbrunn Palace is a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site which was built at the end of the 17th century. It is a 1441-room Rococo palace which was the main summer residence of the Hapsburg emperors. Only 40 rooms are open for public viewing.
- Mozart gave his first ever performance to the Empress Maria Theresa in the Mirrors Room at the age of six;
- the zoo inside Schönbrunn park is the oldest zoo in the world;

👨👨👧👧The Children’s Museum is situated on the ground floor of the palace (west wing). The Children’s Museum is not just for children but for families and all those who want to learn more about the everyday life of the imperial family.
