Alleghe is a charming mountain village (979m/3211ft) located on the shore of Lake Alleghe.
- highest mountain close to Alleghe is Monte Civetta 3220m/10564ft (Dolomites);
- Piazza Kennedy is the town center, a place with hotels, cozy bars and ski/bike rental shops;
- famous destination for hiking in summer, skiing and skating in winter;
- Ski Civetta ski area can be accessed by taking the Piani di Pezzè cable car, located a few steps from the town center;
